Stuff!

This is a very funny subject for me.  It never ceases to amaze me at how important our stuff is no matter how useless it may be.  We simply have trouble moving on.

I am no different, back when I was a contactor, I would keep every pc of wood, tile, adhesive, plastic sheet, antique hinge, you name it I kept it.  It was still good. Too good to throw out, yet too much of a hasle to find someone who could use it.

Working with clients in Real Estate, I come accross ALL KINDS OF STUFF!  Some of it very interesting, like the guy who had WWII ammunition, a room full of snakes, several containers of railroad tracks, small plane parts.  Then like most, a pool table that hasn't seen day light in decades, clothing, lots & lots of clothing, how to books, newspapers, roller skates... the list goes on.  Im not saying it's not important to them, but simply, you must reduce the amount of STUFF when selling your home.

For some this is worse than the actual selling of the property.  The memories, your life in a box, Family photos and things that have been passed down.  It is important to realize that these are a part of your life, it is STUFF and the experience that came with them that defines you.  You dont have to lose this, all you need to do is have assistance in organizing what is and what isn't.
